The Story Behind Our Vision
Every great movement of God begins with a seed—a moment where divine purpose meets human persistence. For Christ for All Ministry, that moment was not a single event, but a journey of faith that spanned three decades, culminating in a pivotal revelation in the heart of Ethiopia.
The Seed of 1994
While many see the official birth of our ministry as a recent event, the vision was actually etched into the spirit of our founders back in 1994. It was a vision of a ministry that wouldn’t just exist within the walls of a church, but would move outward like arrows, carrying the message of redemption to the furthest corners of the nation. For years, this vision remained a quiet flame, waiting for God’s perfect timing.
The Spark in Addis Ababa
The journey toward clarity truly began to accelerate in 2012. In a small residence in Addis Ababa, five brothers and sisters gathered with a heavy, restless question: “Why don’t we study and meditate on the Word of God?” What started as a simple, intimate Bible study soon became a fountain of spiritual blessing. By 2017, the group had grown to twenty members, diving deep into the Book of Acts. As we studied the early church, our focus shifted toward two words: “Back to the Word” and “Transformation.” We realized that we weren’t just being called to study the Gospel—we were being called to carry it.
The Bishoftu Revelation
In August 2024, the ministry reached its defining crossroads. During a focused retreat in Bishoftu, the confusion of the past years vanished. The long-held vision from 1994 finally found its home and its name: Christ for All. There, under the weight of prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the mission became crystal clear. We were not called to wander aimlessly, but to move strategically. We looked at the map of our country and felt a collective, divine pull toward the Northern regions.
Why the North?
The “Northern Call” is an answer to a spiritual necessity. While the Gospel has reached many parts of Ethiopia, there remain vast areas in the North where the message of Jesus Christ has not yet been adequately established.
Our mission begins here—in the highlands and the valleys of the north—because we believe that every person deserves to hear the Good News. But the North is only the beginning. Our emblem, featuring arrows pointing in every direction, serves as a constant reminder that our mandate is global. We start in the North, but we will not stop until we reach the ends of the earth.
